History

One of the most robust strains available, it is a wonderful fruit setter with very rhizomorphic mycelium. Dense fruits with thick, fleshy stems, reaching heights of over 12 cm with hats (Pileus) usually opening around 5 cm in diameter. Golden hat (hence the name). The fruits are not as abundant as in other strains, but the size compensates for the dry weight. The second and third flushes can be huge, usually peaking at around 22 cm. Colonization and fruit set can be slightly slower than other strains. Great strain considering performance and potency. Dark spore depositor.

The strain's origin is unknown, but it was probably collected in the Gulf region of the USA. It has been on the strain market for a long time, and is one of the best-selling strains from various suppliers.
